Ethereal Essence
A new emerging project of mine - capturing the essence of what the word ethereal. As I expand in my spiritual journey, I am led to themes around supernatural / spirit / the divine connection flowing through us all. What seems to be almost not of this world yet the most interconnected spirit present here. That essence is what I'm here to explore.
Māori Culture
This project stems from the theme of interconnectedness. I specifically want to show this through the beautiful relationship the Māori culture has to Papatūānuku, the land.
Rise in Unity
Each step is supported by the earth — together we rise.
Mau rākau is a form of ancient Māori weaponry. A rākau practitioner, or kairākau, journeys through training to become one with their rākau, or staff. One does not control the other — they move in harmony as a single entity. It reminds us of the sacred connection that binds all living things, calling us to rise together in unity.
